We love growing from seed; there’s such a wide variety available to us that we wont find as plants in garden centres, or vegetables in our supermarkets. Some can be more difficult to grow than others, but for the most part there are a few simple steps to success that will help you with any type of seed you want to grow.

When Collie Flowers first began as an idea in my head, the sowing and growing information was far more a feature of my plan than the seeds. Before launching we put together a comprehensive library that we draw on for our seeds packs and pocket companions, and that we add to everytime we bring a new seed into stock.

At the beginning of 2024 Collie Flowers set the ambitious challenge of making all of our sowing and growing advice available to all gardeners at no cost. We have a huge library of information that we have built whilst running Collie Flowers, and now we're in the process of publishing it all here to ensure that whether you're growing our seeds, or not you have access to the best information that money can't buy!
